Belmark Homes donates 1.5-acre park to Marysville

Marysville-based developer Belmark Homes has donated a park to the city of Marysville in the new Shasta Ridge neighborhood.
The Shasta Ridge Park in the Sunnyside area was completed in early June, and its opening ceremonies and ribbon-cutting June 11 were attended by Marysville Mayor Dennis Kendall, Parks and Recreation Director Jim Ballew, and City Council members Jon Nehring, Carmen Rasmussen and Donna Wright.

The Marysville Public Works Building at 80 Columbia Ave. will be closed to walk-in visitors until further notice after sustaining significant flood damage during a flash rain storm on Wednesday, June 9, city officials announced June 10.
