TULALIP — On July 15, representatives of the Tulalip Tribes informed The Marysville Globe via e-mail that John McCoy has resigned from his position as general manager of Quil Ceda Village effective Aug. 1.

Marysville-based developer Belmark Homes has donated a park to the city of Marysville in the new Shasta Ridge neighborhood.
The Shasta Ridge Park in the Sunnyside area was completed in early June, and its opening ceremonies and ribbon-cutting June 11 were attended by Marysville Mayor Dennis Kendall, Parks and Recreation Director Jim Ballew, and City Council members Jon Nehring, Carmen Rasmussen and Donna Wright.
The Marysville/North County Family YMCA received a donation of 30 personal floating devices, worth $1,000, through a grant from West Marine.
The city of Marysville is seeking citizens to fill vacancies on its Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and its Salary Commission.
