M-P has 8, Arlington 6, MG 4 on All-Wesco North teams

Marysville-Pilchuck had eight athletes selected to winter-season Wesco 3A North all-league teams, while Arlington had six and Marysville Getchell four.

Making the first team in boys basketball were seniors Luke Dobler and Cameron Stordahl, with Aaron Kalab on the second team.

Coach of the Year was Bary Gould of M-P.

Junior Malakhi Knight made first team for MG, while sophomore Ethan Martin was on the second team.

In girls basketball, Arlington, which placed third in state, had sophomore Keira Marsh and junior Hailey Hiatt on the first team, with junior Josie Stupey and freshman Jenna Villa on the second team.

MG senior Maddy Grandbois made the first team.

Making all-conference in boys wrestling for M-P were seniors Austin Davis at 120 pounds, Cayden White at 182 and Justin Albee at 285.

MG juniors Cheron Smith made it at 220 and Jesus Cabadas at 145.

Arlington junior Dorian Tollenaar made the team at 113 pounds.

M-P freshman Alivia White made the team as a freshman at 190 pounds. Lakewood’s Torrie Blackwood, a junior, made it at 115 pounds.

The only swimmer who made all-conference was junior diver Andrew Kallio of M-P.
