The Lady Cougars volleyball team played together as a team, but junior outside hitter Aly Stewart stood apart from the group through the eyes of Cascade Conference coaches.
Stewart was selected to the second-team all-league for her on the court accomplishments.
Coach Monica Rooney said Stewart was also voted the teams most valuable player.
She was fourth in the league in kills and sixth in the league in kills, Rooney said. She was the team leader in both categories. She compiled 110 kills overall and 30 total blocks. She really became a powerful offensive force and defensive force at the net.
Lucky for Rooney, Stewart will be back for one more season.
