Ruth Taylor

Ruth Evelyn Taylor, 81, of Arlington, Wash. passed away on March 2, 2010 in Kirkland, Wash. She was born in Portland, Ore. on August 22, 1928 to Arlie (Arlington) and Dollie Morton.

Ruth is survived by daughters Ginger Taylor of Arlington, Wash. and Donna (Bob) Wrenn of Warrenton, Ore. Ruth leaves her brother Bob (Joyce) Morton of McMinnville, Ore. and brother-in-law Bob (Dorothy) Taylor of Coos Bay, Ore. She leaves a grandson, Christopher and a great-granddaughter, Trisha. And in Ruth’s words, “and my dear little buddy, Curtiss, who considered me his grandma.” She also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, cousins in Oregon, Washington, California and Florida.

Ruth worked many years as a medical records assistant, thoroughly enjoying her job. She loved snow-capped mountains, needlepoint, baking and decorating wedding cakes and making berry pies.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Edward J. Taylor in 2008 and son Daniel Loren Taylor in 1977.

Gravesite services will be held this summer at Oakhill Cemetery in Eugene, Ore.
