Charles (Chuck) Warren

Charles (Chuck) Warren, 77, of Marysville, Wash., passed away peacefully in a Fairhope, Ala. hospital on Jan. 1, 2010.

He attended schools in St. Anthony, Idaho and Santa Maria, Calif.

He retired from the Marysville Post Office after 33 years of service.

He served in the Air Force and Army and was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers, Marysville American Legion, Everett Elks and Yuma, Arizona Moose.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Patsy Wade Warren; children Cathy Lowry (Michael) of Anacortes, Wash., Karen Lewis (Patrick) of Marysville, Joanne Harman (Vern) of Daphne, Ala., and Steven Warren of Marysville; grandchildren, Alyssa, Kaylea, Taylor, and Quinn Lewis, Brittany, and Nicklaus Warren, all of Marysville; numerous nieces and nephews; and his two much-loved cats, Sam and Sadie. Chuck was an avid sports fan and enjoyed traveling in his RV, fishing, crabbing and digging clams on the Westport beach.

He was a wonderful husband, father, and “Papa” and he will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date in Marysville, Wash. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
