MARYSVILLE – The Grove Church in Marysville is throwing free Block Parties for families in various neighborhoods this week.

The church’s event today was at Liberty Elementary School. Tuesday the party was at Allen Creek Elementary. And Friday the party will be at Shoultes Elementary from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

At the events, kids can play in bouncy houses, have their faces painted, throw balls soaked in water at friends, have their hair braided, make arts and crafts, play mini golf, make spin art, throw sandbags through a clown’s mouth, eat a hot dog and more.

This is the second year the church has sponsored the event to give kids something fun to do in the summer and to give back to the community.
