MARYSVILLE — At approximately 4:05 a.m. on Dec. 26, Marysville Fire District was dispatched to a residential fire. According to the report, the attached garage was on fire and the occupants of the home were evacuating. Crews arrived to find light smoke showing from the garage and eves of the two-story wood-frame home. Crews extinguished the fire before it had an opportunity to spread to other parts of the home.
City of Marysville solid waste crews resumed Monday the scheduled pickup of residential and commercial garbage, and have doubled staff on trucks to enable faster collection while freeing up time to grab missed pickup routes.
MARYSVILLE — Jennings Park became a hotbed of activity on a cold winter day Dec. 17, as adults and children alike gathered to enjoy the “snow day.”
