At approximately 8:30 p.m., on Dec. 22, Marysville Fire District crews were dispatched to reports of a residential fire in the 6400 block of 14th Avenue NE. The first arriving crew found a fully involved single family residence with attached garage. A couple challenges posed themselves for crews while defensively fighting this fire. There were two large propane tanks (100 and 150 gallons) close to the home along with several smaller tanks. Water supply was limited so water was brought to the scene by tenders.
