MARYSVILLE – A 20-year-old Marysville woman died in a crash on Stevens Pass today, the Washington State Patrol reported.

Josie Lynn Eikenberry was westbound on Highway 2 at about milepost 61 when her 2001 Nissan Maxima crossed the centerline, the patrol says.

She collided with a vehicle that was eastbound driven by Pete Weaver, 63, of Monroe. He was injured and transported to Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett. He was driving a 2000 Dodge Caravan.

Eikenberry died at the scene. The WSP report says no drugs or alcohol were involved.
