Photography Basics & Your Point and Shoot Camera

Learn how to use your different camera settings to get the best possible shot.   Explore your camera with Daniel Jolly of Clear Image from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, June 4 at Clear Image, 9023 State Ave.

The Real Story Behind the Declaration of Independence

Be amazed by presenter and history buff Tom Peloquin as you discover the history of the Declaration of Independence. The workshop will take place from 7-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5 at the Marysville Public Library, 6120 Grove St. The class cost is $10. Pre-registration is required.

Dance and Movement with Ms. Mo

Specializing in preschool children ages 3-5 Ms Mo offers Pre-Ballet and Tap, Creative Dance and Tumbling. Many days and times are available beginning June 6. The class cost is $30 for the June session.  For younger dancers ages 1-3 Ms Mo offers Creative Dance Mommy and Me at $21 for the June session. All classes are held at the Ken Baxter Community Center, 514-Delta Ave. Pre-registration is required.

Furniture University

Interior designer Kelly DuByne of Distinctive Interior Design will teach you about furniture quality, components, placement and style in this informative class. The workshop will take place from 6-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 7 at the Marysville Public Library, 6120 Grove St. The class cost is $22. Pre-registration is required. Social Media for Small BusinessMARYSVILLE – Join instructor Carl Doup  as you learn about social media and why it is valuable for your business. This workshop will be held from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 9 at Kung Fu Northwest, 804 Cedar Ave.  The class cost is $25. Pre-registration is required.

Cartooning for Youth

Instructor Max Elam will teach drawing skills and how they apply to cartooning. This four-week class for youth ages 7-12 will be held from 4-6 p.m. Mondays, June 11-July 2 at the Ken Baxter Community Center, 514 Delta Ave. The class cost is $59. Pre-registration is required.

Loving Your Small HomeInterior designer Kelly DuByne of Distinctive Interior Design will teach you how to maximize your floor plan to make your small home the home you love. The workshop will take place from 6-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 12 at the Marysville Public Library, 6120 Grove St. The class cost is $22. Pre-registration is required.

Fused Glass–Plates

Join award winning artist Janet Foley in this wonderful workshop where you will explore fusing glass. Class will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Monday, June 13 at Jennings Memorial Park Barn, 6915 Armar Rd. The registration fee is $35 and the materials fee is $20-$45 depending on the project chosen. Pre-registration is required.

Office Efficiency for Busy Business People

Join professional organizer Monika Kristofferson in this informative class teaching you how to tackle paperwork and efficiency in your office. This workshop will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 14 at the Marysville Library, 6120 Grove. The cost is $22. Pre-registration is required.

Yoga in May with Marysville Parks and Recreation

Get fit with yoga. Whether beginner or experienced certified yoga instructor Janette Wiseman will help guide you as you reduce stress, increase range of motion, build strength and improve balance as you become a more healthy you. Classes offered are Yoga at the Barn on Tuesdays/Thursdays from 5:30-6:30 p.m. for $49 monthly and Yoga for Relaxation on Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30 p.m. for $27 monthly. Pre-registration is required.
