STANWOOD — The Marysville Getchell boys tennis team lost to Stanwood 6-1 Sept. 21. Eben Heacock in singles was MGs only winner, 7-6 (6). MG’s record dropped to 3-5.

LYNNWOOD — The Marysville-Pilchuck boys tennis team lost to Lynnwood 5-2 Sept. 21. M-P’s winning matches were in doubles: Griffen Hubbert and Daniel Kirkwood, 7-6 (2); and Kobe Bowman and Coby Nelson, 6-4 and 6-2. M-P’s record is 0-8.

MARYSVILLE — The Marysville Getchell girls soccer team remains the only undefeated team in the Wesco 3A North winning its fifth match over Everett 1-0 Sept 20, with Oshinaye Taylor scoring the only goal.

TULALIP — Tulalip Heritage remains undefeated in volleyball defeating Orcas Christian 3-0 (25-20, 25-21 and 25-14) Sept. 21, and Skykomish 3-0 (25-10, 25-2 and 25-18) in its third match Sept. 20. The Hawk’s record is 4-0.

ARLINGTON — Arlington defeated Marysville Getchell in volleyball 3-0 (25-16, 25-11 and 25-18.) Sept. 20. Highlights for Arlington: Ally Peterson, 37 assists; Jessica Baker, 13 kills; and Morgan Van Laar, with 10 kills.

Highlights for MG: Juliana Cameron led her team with 10 assists. Arlington’s record improved to 3-1 while MG’s dropped to 1-3.

ARLINGTON — McKenzie Buell and Kirsten Phillips scored a goal apiece in the Arlington girls soccer team’s win over Stanwood 2-0 Sept. 20. Arlington’s record improved to 5-2.

MARYSVILLE — The Marysville-Pilchuck girls soccer team played to a 0-0 draw against Edmonds Woodway Sept. 20.

M-P’s record is 2-2-2.
