William (Bill) M. Hoidal

William M. Hoidal “Bill”

Bill passed away on September 21, 2016, at Cascade Valley Hospital.

Born in Arlington, Wash., on July 31, 1937. He started school there. He lived most of his life in Marysville, Wash., at the family home.

He served in the Navy, and then started his career with Scott Paper Co. in Everett, Wash., which became Kimberly Clark. He took an early retirement from Kimberly Clark.

He loved to duck/goose hunt and enjoyed going to Beaver Creek campground out of Twisp, Wash., to go deer hunting. He also enjoyed salmon and steelhead fishing.

He was predeceased by his parents, Martin and “Gert” (Gertrude) Hoidal.

He is survived by his sister, Judy (Hoidal) Dutson (Dick) and their children and lots of cousins.

His ashes will be scattered up in the hills where he enjoyed mushroom hunting and picking – with half going where he picked Morale mushrooms in the spring and the other half going where he picked chantrell mushrooms in the fall.

Would like to thank the wonderful caregivers at “Caring Hearts,” formerly Selah Family Home, for the wonderful treatment and care given to Bill.

Thank you Jason, Josie, Brian and Arcadia.

There will be no service per Bill’s request.
