Eagles steal Chargers’ thunder in rout; Marysville-Pilchuck suffers loss to Sehome

MARYSVILLE — Arlington defeated Marysville Getchell 47-26 in its first 3A North Wesco league game Sept. 16.

Arlington quarterback Campbell Hudson connected on 9-of-27 passes for two touchdowns and also had a TD reception of his own.

MG’s Gage Thomas led the rushing attack for MG, accumulating 158 yards and two TD runs. Arlington’s record is 2-1 and MG fell to 1-2.

BURLINGTON — Lakewood’s Austin Lane was 14-for-27, connecting on two touchdown passes to George Toponce, in the Cougars’ 14-12 2A Cascade League win over Sehome Sept. 16. Lakewood’s record is now 1-2.

BELLINGHAM — The Marysville-Pilchuck football team lost to Squalicum 48-15 Sept. 16.

Its record fell to 0-3.
