Marysville’s Touch a Truck returns Sept. 10

The city of Marysville invites the community to Touch a Truck. This fun-filled event puts kids in the driver's seat of Marysville's biggest heavy-duty rigs. Children of all ages will have a hands-on chance to sit in the driver's seat, honk horns and kick the tires on a variety of big rigs.

MARYSVILLE — The city of Marysville invites the community to Touch a Truck. This fun-filled event puts kids in the driver’s seat of Marysville’s biggest heavy-duty rigs. Children of all ages will have a hands-on chance to sit in the driver’s seat, honk horns and kick the tires on a variety of big rigs.

Touch a Truck will take place 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10 at Asbery Field, 1605 Seventh St. NE. Admission is free.

Vehicles on display will include a dump truck, vactor truck, police vehicles, street sweeper, fire engines, garbage trucks and more. Horns and sirens will be from 10 a.m. to noon. Marysville Noon Rotary Club will offer special activities for kids and Kiwanis will have tasty treats for sale.
