MARYSVILLE — The Ken Baxter Community Center will serve as the site for a spring craft and garden show on Saturday, April 14, followed by a “Ladies’ Night Out” and jewelry show on Friday, April 27, for which event organizers are seeking to recruit not only crafters, but also vendors of plants and garden items, as well as handmade jewelry.

Ken Baxter Community Center Coordinator Maryke Burgess expects a “great turnout” for both the April 14 indoor-and-outdoor show, which will feature handmade items and plants and is slated to run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the April 27 show “catering to ladies who love unique and classy pieces,” which is set to run from 4:30-8:30 p.m. and promises a selection of items that she believes would be appropriate for bridal seasons, proms, spring or Mother’s Day, while also providing “mocktails,” makeup demos, wedding etiquette advice and more.

Both shows are juried. The table cost for the April 14 show is $50 for indoors and $25 for outdoors, while the table cost for the April 27 show is $25.

The Ken Baxter Community Center is located at 514 Delta Ave. in Marysville. For more information or an application, contact Burgess by phone at 360-363-8450 or via email at mburgess@marysvillewa.gov.
