MARYSVILLE — The Marysville Fire District was recently awarded a $1,000 stipend from the national nonprofit Home Fire Sprinkler Coalition to help dispel Hollywood myths about home fire sprinkler technology. Marysville Police investigators are trying to learn the whereabouts of a male subject who they believe may be responsible for the early Sunday morning shooting of a 25-year-old Kent man that occurred in the 200 block of Second Street in Marysville.
