MARYSVILLE — The Marysville-Pilchuck and Getchell composite boys swim teams competed in a meet Jan. 17.

The MG team won 98-75 over Lynnwood, and lost 112-70 to Meadowdale. The M-P team won 88-76 over Lynnwood, and lost 103-66 to Meadowdale. MG and M-P champions were: 200 freestyle—Jared Edge (M-P) in 2 minutes, 17.83 seconds; Diving— Zack Scharbach (MG) scoring 231.55 points; 100 butterfly—John Snider (MG) 56.10; 500 freestyle—Nate Novy (M-P) 6:36.46; 200 freestyle relay—Marysville Getchell (Brewer, Mielke, Nahinu and Snider ) 1:47.79. 50 freestyle—Nathaniel Ludwig (MG) 23.9; 500 freestyle—Josh Bacon (MG) 7:44.42; 100 backstroke—Justin Orellana (MG) 1:35.53; 200 relay—Marysville-Pilchuck (Howat, Gagon, Van Der Putten and Edge) 1:49.96; and 100 backstroke—Ethan Nelson (M-P) 1:28.60.
