Tulalip boys win in basketball; MG and M-P lose

TULALIP — Junior Rodney Barber’s game-high 24 points led the Tulalip Heritage boys basketball to a win over Providence Classic Christian 68-43 Jan. 31. The Hawks improved to 8-11.

LYNNWOOD — Marysville Getchell freshman Cameron Stordahl scored a game-high 18 points, but his basketball team came up short to Lynnwood 52-44 Jan. 31 in a Wesco 3A league game. MG’s record dropped to 3-15.

LYNNWOOD — The Marysville-Pilchuck boys basketball team was edged 55-52 by Meadowdale Jan. 31 in a Wesco 3A league game. M-P sophomore RaeQuan Battle led his team with 17 points. M-P’s record dropped to 10-8.

MARYSVILLE — The Marysville-Pilchuck girls basketball team lost to Meadowdale 38-26 in a Wesco 3A league game Jan. 31. Junior Olivia Lee led M-P with six points. M-P’s record dropped to 0-17.
