MG golfers lose to Snohomish

MARYSVILLE – Abby Braun placed second and Nicole Phengmuang third but Marysville Getchell’s girls golf team still fell to Snohomish last week 326 to 352.

MG lacked the depth of the visitors as Snohomish took four of the other six top spots.

Braun shot a 61 and Phengmuang a 62 to lead the Chargers.

Haley Francis and Chloe Braaten each shot a 73 over the 12 holes, while Emily Reynolds had an 83 and Natalie Furness an 85. Vreni Todd was the medalist with a 58.
