Cascade Football League Thunder

Cascade Football League Thunder

The Arlington-based Snohomish County Thunder football team kicks off its eight-game season with an April 26 home game against the Puget Sound Pirates.

The Thunder is part of a young Cascade Football League in its second season. The team draws players from different backgrounds, including players with college football ambitions and others involved simply for the love of the game.

The Snohomish County Thunder feature area alumni including Arlington graduate Trevor Milless at quarterback.

In addition to the Pirates, league rivals include Whatcom County Raiders, Olympic Peninsula Eagles and the Tacoma Invaders.

The team will host four of their games, with the first game kicking off at 1 p.m. at Arlington Middle School.
