MG girls win in hoops

MARYSVILLE — The Marysville Getchell girls basketball team defeated Everett 60-27 Jan. 11 in a Wesco 3A league game. Senior Gabby Grandbois led MG with 22 points. MG improved its record to 8-5.

SHORELINE — The Marysville-Pilchuck girls basketball team lost to Shorecrest 80-31 Jan. 11 in a Wesco 3A league game. Sophomore Hanna Koehn led M-P with six points. M-P’s record dropped to 0-11.

EVERETT — The Marysville Getchell boys basketball team lost Everett 70-43 Jan. 10 in a Wesco 3A league game. Senior Cody Day led MG with 11 points. MG’s record dropped to 2-11.
