The Lady Tomahawks began the new year in similar fashion as 2006 on a winning note. Seniors Nancy Couls (16 points), Laura Degerness (12) and junior Jessica Masters (15) accounted for all but a dozen of M-Ps total points in the Wesco North win.
M-P improved to 3-3 in league play and 7-3 overall while the host Lady Bruins fell to 1-6, 3-8.
