EVERETT — It’s “all coming together” for Marysville’s 10-and-11-year-olds little league All-Star baseball team.

“Everyone’s contributing throughout,” said coach Brian Hurley who has members on the team that won the district title last season. “They have a lot of good experience coming back and it’s really showing.”

Marysville went three-for-three at the District 1 All-Star baseball tournament defeating North Snohomish 8-3 June 29, in a display that included good hitting, pitching and defense, Hurley said.

Marysville advances in the winner-bracket to play Mill Creek July 5.

Other local All-Star teams faced losses the same day.

Formally advancing in the tournament, the Stilly Valley nine-and-10-year-olds were knocked to the loser-out bracket falling to Everett 4-1.

The team played its consolation game against June 30, but the results were unavailable by press time.

Marysville’s nine-and-10-year-olds were eliminated losing to Mill Creek 12-0.

Still in the Majors consolation tournament is Marysville, after defeating Stilly Valley June 27 and Lake Stevens June 28.

Marysville played an elimination game June 30 but the results were unavailable by press time.

The remaining district games continue at Phil Johnson Fields in Everett throughout next week.
