Sacha Clow led the field of 84 runners in the girls junior varsity race, ceding to Bellarmine Preps Annie Tollefson and Krista Foster in the last 150 yards. Fellow freshman Veronica Hall finished not far behind her, taking fourth in the same race. Clow finished in 21:41 and Hall in 21:54, to grab their coachs attention.
Our two JV girls who were upfront, Sacha Clow and Veronica Hall, did a great job of getting out front in that race, Edens said.
The times would have put them in the top half of finishers in the varsity contest.
Sophomore Caitlin Scholl took 10th in the girls JV and senior Amy Torkelson took 14th with a time just over 23 minutes.
