Praise to Marysville for designating money for some type of July 4 fireworks show this summer.

Praise to Ren Leach and all of those who help him keep coaching youth football in Arlington despite him losing his eyesight.

Praise to all of the athletes who participated in fall sports, and congratulations to all of those who made it to state.

Raze to the man who stabbed his wife over a divorce. If someone doesn’t want to be with you, life is better without them. Violence is never the answer.

Praise to Arlington schools for realizing the need and putting a $107.5 million bond issue on the Feb. 13, 2018 special election ballot. We support passage for the much-need improvements.

Raze to the woman driving the Ford 150 who wouldn’t letter a car over at the 172nd overcrossing to go south on I-5. Luckily the driver behind you was much nicer. You need to be kind and thoughtful of others, even if it’s not the holidays.

Praise to Marysville for putting a moratorium on drug facilities in town.

Praise to local candidates for taking down their political signs to quickly.

Praise to the Marysville School District for hosting an awards and dinner program for excelling students.

Raze to the parents who left early. They need to learn something from their kids.

Praise to the North Cascades Band for putting on a Christmas show in Marysville for all to enjoy.

Praise to Marysville police for asking for drones and a crime scene program that will keep them safer and save time.

Raze to the Marysville man for leaving his baby daughter – along with a loaded weapon – in an upside-down car.

Praise to the city of Marysville for honoring Donna Wright and Jeff Seibert for their combined 42 years on council.

Praise to Arlington schools for its Open Doors program that helps kids graduate.

Raze to I-5 north drivers who don’t get into the right lane to exit. Why do you stay in the middle, tying up that lane, too, when you try to move over at the last minute? What you have to do is no more important than anyone else.
