Lois L. Henderson, 86, of Marysville, died Feb. 21, 2007.
She was born Dec. 24, 1920 in Tacoma, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Dean T. Henderson.
Lois was born the oldest of three daughters, to Ethel and Ernest Barker of Tacoma.
Lois leaves behind her sister, Lorraine Hildebrand of Tacoma; three sons, Bill (Kim), Bob and Dick (Shelly) Henderson; nine grandchildren, Traci, Kari, Cindy, Scott, Julie, Lori, Jeremy, Ricky and Catherine; nine great-grandchildren, Tyler, Amanda, Olivia, Blake, Rebecca, Emma, Taylor, Kaleb and Madison.
Born in the Northwest and spending her entire life here, she developed a deep love for swimming, boating, beach combing, camping, hiking, fishing and particularly gardening. She was active in numerous gardening clubs and loved growing her flowers.
Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the true love of her life. Never would she miss an opportunity to enjoy every family gathering. She was an endearing wife, mother and grandparent. She will be truly missed from the oldest to youngest family member.
