Johnadine A. Wolfe

Johnadine A. Wolfe, 67, died Jan. 28, 2009 at her home in Arlington where she was a longtime and much loved active member of the community. Born in Anthony, KS, and resided in Sharon, KS through High School and attended American Business College in Wichita.

She moved to the Seattle area in 1961 where she met and married Robert (Bob) T. Wolfe in 1968. In 1969 they relocated to Arlington with their daughter Judi and built one of the first energy efficient underground homes in 1979. Johnadine was a member of the Garden Club for 30 years where her passion for flower arranging and gardening will continue to bloom. We will always remember her joyful nature, her love, her smile, hugs and generosity. She gave so much, and will always be in our hearts. She especially loved to dance. Her wish to each of us was always, “PEACE.”

She is preceded in death her husband Robert, sister Margaret, and parents John and Alice Mans. She is survived and deeply missed by her daughter Judi of Edmonds, WA; step-daughters Abigail Wolfe of Olympia and Karen Wolfe of Turkey; brothers Michael (Wanda) of Jefferson City, MO; Donavon (Barbara) Mans of Osage Beach, MO; and Louis of Derby, KS; her sisters Victoria (Preston) Smith of Lakewood, CO; and Linda (Ric) Munson of Colorado Springs. She will be especially missed by her three treasured grandchildren, Kimberly, Rebecca, and Jeremy Donner of Edmonds, WA. and cousins Patricia (Rob) Petrut of Kent, and Pam Beekman-Thor (Ernie) of Brier.

A celebration of her life was held at Magnolia Hall in Arlington on February 8th. Memorials may be sent to your local chapter of VOA Meals on Wheels.
