Frank Edward McKay

Frank Edward McKay went to be with our Lord and Savior on Aug. 4, 2007.
He was born in Bellingham, Wash., on Feb. 20, 1950.
He graduated from Woodway High School in Edmonds, Wash., in 1970.
His oldest son Garrett was born in 1975. His son Edward was born in 1984, Steven in 1987 and daughter Chrystal in 1988.
Frank worked various jobs through out his life, from pizza prep cook to tow truck driver to medical gas cylinder filler to manager of the maintenance team at Kimberly Clark in Everett, Wasj.
He leaves his wife of 24 years, Carol; his four children; his mother, Noreen Platt; his brothers, Jerry and Larry; his sisters, Karen and Marlene; his grandsons, Marcus and Jessie; and other loving family members and friends.
He put up a valiant battle against cancer and let the Lord win his final battle, so he is now at peace and cancer free.
He is doing all his favorite pastimes again, being an umpire at softball games, fishing, hunting, drinking beer and just enjoying every day of his eternal life.
A memorial celebration of life service was held at 3 p.m., on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007, at Gilbertson Funeral Home in Stanwood, Wash.
