Catherine Santeford Brodersen has gone to the arms of Jesus and her ever-loving husband, Laurence, of 70 years.
Catherine was born Nov. 17, 1910, in Snohomish County to John and Elsie Santiford. She was the second of six children, was raised in Arlington, Wash., and graduated the class of 1929.
Catherine married the love of her life, Laurence Brodersen. They farmed for many years on Smith Island and when they retired, they moved to Marysville, Wash.
Catherine was preceded in death by her parents; five siblings; and her husband, Laurence, in February 2000.
She survived by sister-in-laws, Noma Santeford, of Granite Falls, Wash., Dena Brodersen, of Germany; three sibling Kroeze cousins; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 5, 2007, at Grace Bible Church, Marysville, Wash., with visitation from 9 – 10 a.m. also at the church.
