UPDATE | Snowfall hits Marysville

MARYSIVLLE - Snow began falling in Marysville on Monday morning and weather forecasters are expecting it to continue through the afternoon with snowfall totals expected between 1-3 inches in some areas in the region.

MARYSIVLLE – Snow began falling in Marysville on Monday morning and weather forecasters are expecting it to continue through the afternoon with snowfall totals expected between 1-3 inches.

The National Weather Service is calling for decreasing snow this afternoon along with falling temperatures. The expected low for Monday night is 18 degrees and the high on Tuesday is expected to reach 30 degrees.

Both the Marysville and Lakewood school districts have announced schedule changes due to the weather. You can check schoolreport.org for updates.

Marysville School District

TODAY: Buses will run routes according to the LIMITED TRANSPORTATION schedule this afternoon. Click on the link to view routes: LIMITED TRANSPORTATION – there will be No afternoon kindergarten, preschool, ECEAP, athletic practices are canceled, all evening district and school events are canceled. TOMORROW: 2-hour Late Start, No Half-Day Kindergarten, Preschool, ECEAP (AM & PM) no Early Head Start, no out-of-district transportation, limited transportation routes in morning following late start. Possibly will follow limited transportation routes tomorrow afternoon depending on weather conditions.
