Tulalip’s Duplessis serves as page in state Legislature

OLYMPIA — Marysville Getchell High School student Dallas Duplessis of Tulalip served under state Rep. John McCoy (D-Tulalip) as a legislative page on the floor of the House of Representatives for the week of Jan. 16.

OLYMPIA — Marysville Getchell High School student Dallas Duplessis of Tulalip served under state Rep. John McCoy (D-Tulalip) as a legislative page on the floor of the House of Representatives for the week of Jan. 16.

Any student aged 14-17 is eligible to serve as a legislative page in the state House or Senate where, for one week, they will deliver messages for lawmakers and learn firsthand about the democratic process.
