Tulalip Walmart receives bomb threat

QUIL CEDA VILLAGE — On Sunday, April 22, at approximately 8:15 p.m., Snohomish County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a bomb threat at the Walmart store located in the 8900 block of Quil Ceda Boulevard in Tulalip.

QUIL CEDA VILLAGE — On Sunday, April 22, at approximately 8:15 p.m., Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a bomb threat at the Walmart store located in the 8900 block of Quil Ceda Boulevard in Tulalip.

According to Sheriff’s Office Bureau Chief Kevin Prentiss, their investigation indicated that an unknown caller telephoned Walmart and stated there was a bomb located outside the store, but no information was provided regarding the specific location of the bomb.

Walmart management evacuated the store due to the threat. Personnel from the Washington State Patrol Regional Bomb Unit responded to the location and bomb technicians checked the parking lot. Tulalip Tribal Police also responded to assist with the call. Nothing suspicious was located during the search.
