Talent show seeks contestants

We looking for talented people in vocal, dance, instrumental, drama, comedy, etc., said Marcy Giesler, Talent Show director, I encourage everyone who loves to perform to send in an application. Its a lot of fun and anybody can do it.
Contestants of all ages in both solo or groups are welcome. Giesler said that in last years competition the youngest performer was four years old, while the oldest performer was in his late 60s. She added that contestants also come from surrounding communities to participate in the event. I had someone from Brier call me yesterday, said Giesler. Last years overall winner was Laurie Miller of Camano Island.
Those wanting to participate in the talent show must first complete an application which is available at the festivals Web site at www.maryfest.com or by calling Giesler at 360-653-6584. Applications must be completed and returned by May 11.
Those who complete the applications will perform at one of the auditions. The auditions will be held at the Marysville-Pilchuck High School auditorium, May 21, from 11 a.m.
to noon and on May 22, from 5:45-7:45 p.m., at the M-PHS cafeteria.
