MARYSVILLE After more than 25 years working with advertising customers at the Marysville Globe and Arlington Times, Sue Stevenson is leaving to pursue other interests.
Stevenson started in advertising sales at The Globe under the ownership of Sim Wilson in January of 1980. She eventually became sales manager of the display advertising department and served in that capacity until very recently.
She worked with customers in both the Marysville and Arlington areas during her career with the papers and over the years came to know most, if not all, of the business owners here.
Sue knows so many people here and they know her, said publisher Kris Passey. She has been active not only in serving her newspaper customers but in the communities as well. She always has an optimistic outlook and has been a valuable ambassador for the papers. She will be difficult to replace.
Stevenson is a member of the Marysville Morning Rotary. She is also a partner with Lynn Dye in Marysville Travel which the two started in 1992.
