SR 529 closed on morning of April 27 for Heroes Half-Marathon

MARYSVILLE — Drivers traveling between Marysville and Everett will want to stick to Interstate 5 on the morning of Sunday, April 27, as State Route 529 will be closed for the Heroes Half-Marathon.

MARYSVILLE — Drivers traveling between Marysville and Everett will want to stick to Interstate 5 on the morning of Sunday, April 27, as State Route 529 will be closed for the Heroes Half-Marathon.

From 8-11 a.m., both directions of SR 529 will be closed, from First Avenue in Marysville to North Broadway/East Marine View Drive/Walnut Street in Everett, to accommodate runners.

There will be no access to northbound SR 529 from 28th Place NE and 40th Place NE, or from southbound SR 529 to East Marine View Drive.

There will also be no openings of the Snohomish River Bridge and the Steamboat Slough Bridge for marine traffic.

Drivers should use I-5 during the closure hours.
