MARYSVILLE Love your libraries at a free, fun event this month, and support the Sno-Isle Libraries Foundation.
Oct. 20 is the Foundations fifth annual fundraising. This years program will take place at the Snohomish Library (311 Maple Ave.), from 6-8 p.m. The evening will feature music in the stacks and quirky and comical library stories. Throughout the evening winners will be announced in a new twist on the popular Book & Balloon adventure.
Guests will learn about the necessary extras provided by the Foundation in 21 libraries throughout Snohomish and Island Counties. Instead of purchasing tickets, guests will be asked to make a donation or pledge to the Foundation. Attendance is limited. No shushing allowed. Dress is evening casual. To start your adventure and reserve a space, please RSVP by Oct. 13 to Karri Matau at 360-651-7066 or via email kmatau@sno-isle.org.
