The man exposed himself to a woman about 4:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of 2nd Street, Cmdr. Robb Lamoureux said.

The 47-year-old woman told police she had been walking her dog in the alley behind her house.  The man approached her and engaged her in a conversation.  The woman began to feel uncomfortable and then realized the suspect had exposed himself.  She indicated she was going to go inside to get some water and called police.

The man was gone when police arrived.

The man is described as white, in his 40s, wearing a white, fedora-style straw hat and eye glasses. He was dressed in blue jeans and was wearing a Hawaiian shirt.
