Search warrant leads to chop shop discovery, arrest

MARYSVILLE — The Snohomish County Auto Theft Task Force, with assistance from the Washington State Patrol and the Marysville Police Department, arrested one man on the evening of Wednesday, Nov. 13, after they discovered a suspected chop shop.

MARYSVILLE — The Snohomish County Auto Theft Task Force, with assistance from the Washington State Patrol and the Marysville Police Department, arrested one man on the evening of Wednesday, Nov. 13, after they discovered a suspected chop shop.

Detectives arrived at a residence in the 3100 block of 87th Avenue NE to serve a search warrant, and found an active chop shop, with three reportedly stolen vehicles in pieces, and additional vehicles with stolen parts attached.

One suspect, a 28-year-old male who resides at the location, was booked into jail on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.
