Marysville police are seeking the publics help in identifying a man who allegedly exposed himself to two young Marysville girls, then chased after them when they ran screaming for help.
Just after 3 p.m. on June 9, the two girls, ages 12 and 13, were walking home in the southeast part of Marysville. During the walk one of the girls spotted a man hiding between two trees near the sidewalk with his pants down. She told her friend to run. Both ran while screaming for help. The man chased after them for a short distance.
A woman spotted the girls and then observed the man chasing after them. She yelled at the man. He then turned around and got into a newer model white colored SUV vehicle and left the area.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 40s. He is around 6 feet tall and is heavy-set. The man has medium brown, thinning hair and was wearing jeans and a white t-shirt.
One of the girls was able to assist with a composite drawing of the suspect.
The police are asking that anyone who believes they recognize the man from the drawing please contact Marysville Police detectives at 360-363-8326.
