MARYSVILLE — Representatives for the Marysville Walmart store at the intersection of State Route 9 and Highway 528 could not confirm an opening date, despite recent advertisements announcing a Sept. 11 grand opening.

“We are excited to open our new Marysville Walmart very soon,” said Rachel Wall, senior manager of community affairs. “We have been working toward a Sept. 11 opening, however, construction schedules on a project like this are fluid. We look forward to celebrating with the community soon and we greatly appreciate the collaboration from the city of Marysville throughout the construction process.”
