Local Lions to offer health screenings
MARYSVILLE The Marysville Lions Club will offer free health screenings 9 a.m. to
4 p.m., April 12, at the Marysville YMCA, 6420 60th Dr., Marysville.
Screenings available will include testing for blood pressure, glaucoma and diabetes, along with sight and hearing tests.
The Lions Heath Screening Unit is described by the organization as a professionally-equipped, state-licensed, mobile unit staffed by health professionals, Lions Club members and volunteers.

Historical Society offers help labeling old photos
MARYSVILLE If you have old, local pictures in your collection, the Marysville Historical Society might be able to help identify the when, where and what of those old shots.
Long time resident Walt Taubeneck will be on hand to take a look at any old photos 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., April 5, at the Historical Society headquarters and museum, 1508-B Third St., Marysville.
Refreshments will be available.

Public safety job fair set for April 12 in Everett
MARYSVILLE Numerous police and fire departments, including those from and representing Marysville, will take part in a public safety job fair 10 a.m, to 4 p.m. at the south end of Paine Field in Everett.
The event is sponsored by the National Testing Network.
Besides the Marysville Police Department and the Marysville Fire District, other local public safety organizations scheduled to be on hand include the Snohomish County Fire District, the county corrections department, the county sheriffs office, Tulalip Tribal Police, the U.S. Border Patrol and many others.
