MARYSVILLE — The funeral motorcade for slain corrections officer Jayme Biendl started at the Schaefer Shipman Funeral Home at Eighth Street and State Avenue in Marysville at 10:30 a.m. on Feb. 8.

The motorcade traveled south on State Avenue before turning west on Fourth Street on its way to Interstate 5. It then headed toward the Monroe Correctional Complex before its scheduled arrival at the Comcast Arena in Everett, where the public memorial is set to begin at 1 p.m.

Following the service in Everett, there will be a follow-up motorcade north to Tulalip, which could cause further traffic delays.
