The Marysville Fred Meyer store, located at 9925 State Ave., will serve as the site for this event from 5-8 p.m. on both days.

Marysville-Pilchuck High School students will be able to shop at the store on Oct. 17, while Marysville Getchell High School students will be able to shop at the store on Oct. 18.

Each student will be checked in, told to shop for $125 worth of school-related clothes or other items, which will not include items such as iPods or DVDs.

When the students complete their shopping, they’ll check in with Assistance League of Everett members to make sure their purchases are within the $125 range, before going to check out.

Fred Meyer will give each student a 10 percent discount, which can be coupled with coupons.
