Marysville swimmers and divers qualify to state

SNOHOMISH — Local swimmers and divers qualified to state after placing at the 3A district meet at the Snohomish Aquatic Center Nov. 5.

Marysville Getchell divers Chloe Bishop and Lexi Kilbourn, qualified as did Marysville-Pilchuck’s Lauren Carson. Bishop placed second scoring 405 points, and Kilbourn fourth with 355.5 points. Carson placed fifth at 351.8 points, just above the qualifying score of 350.

M-P’s Abby Magee also qualified, placing third in the 100 butterfly, swimming a personal best of two minutes, 13.02 seconds.

The 3A state meet will be held at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, noon, Nov. 11-12.
