MARYSVILLE – Two young brothers missing since Sunday morning have been found safe, according to Cmdr. Robb Lamoureux of the Marysville Police Department.

Lamoureux said the boys, Malakai A. Miller, age 3, and Makai S. Miller, age 2, were taken by their biological mother, Tara M. Anderson-Miller, 30, from the home of their grandmother, who is the appointed guardian.

Lamoureux said tips from the public gave investigators information to followup on.

It also put some pressure on Tara Miller and as a result I am very pleased to report that the Miller boys have been recovered and are in police protective custody,” said Lamoureux. “Tara Miller fled the area prior to our arrival in the South Everett area where the boys were located.”

Additional information will be posted when it becomes available.
