MARYSVILLE — At approximately 8:25 p.m., Tuesday, Marysville Police were dispatched to an espresso stand located in the 400 block of State Ave. NE to investigate an armed robbery that had just occurred.

The female victim told officers a male subject had approached the stand on foot, displayed a handgun, and demanded the money in the cash register. She further indicated the suspect had fled on foot northbound on State Avenue.

Officers attempted a K-9 track of the suspect but were unsuccessful in locating him.

The suspect was described as a white male in his 20s. He was wearing a black bandana over his head, dark sunglasses, and black sweatshirt.

A second witness who was in the area at the time advised officers he had observed the suspect run down a side street but was unable to provide any kind of description.
