MARYSVILLE — In partnership with the Sno-Isle Libraries, WorkSource Snohomish County will be conducting workshops on creating a targeted resume, along with mock panel interviews, at libraries in Marysville and throughout the county this spring.
Many companies, including Boeing, use structured panel interviews in their hiring processes.
“Panel interviews are often intimidating for prospective employees,” said Mark Perry of WorkSource Snohomish County. “This workshop not only teaches about the interviews, but it gives participants a chance to practice their skills as well.”
Perry added that, in today’s competitive job market, a one-size-fits-all resume might not get applicants the interviews they desire. The targeted resume workshops will teach participants to develop an effective, targeted resume by identifying and packaging the skills each employer is looking for.
The Marysville Library will host the workshop on March 20 from noon to 3 p.m.
Preregistration is required, and you may register online at www.sno-isle.org.
