MARYSVILLE Come and see the design for the new high school that the Marysville School District is scheduled to bid in 2008.
The recent purchase of Hunter Store completes the land purchases for the new high school which is designed for 1,600 students in four smaller learning communities with a site plan that takes advantage of the natural beauty and terrain of the 43-acre site on the top of Getchell Hill.
This new school construction is part of the bond project from 2006 and is currently scheduled to open in 2010 one year early. Value Engineering was utilized to keep within the resources available despite rising construction costs. The school design recently the districts guiding principles for secondary learning.

The city of Marysville is coordinating timelines with the district to construct Ingraham Boulevard (connecting with 88th Street) to be ready by the schools opening. District capital projects staff, the project architect and the city of Marysville will be available to provide information and answer questions about the newt high school project. Join the district for the informational open house on Monday, Oct. 15, from 5-6 p.m.
