‘Mary Poppins’ sails into M-P auditorium (slide show)

MARYSVILLE – "Mary Poppins" will glide into the Marysville-Pilchuck High School auditorium starting Thursday, April 23.

MARYSVILLE – “Mary Poppins” will glide into the Marysville-Pilchuck High School auditorium starting Thursday, April 23.

Sage Fairbanks will play the leading role made famous by Julie Andrews and is also an assistant director. Evan Staback will play Bert.  Dick Van Dyke played that role in the classic Disney movie.

The musical will be performed April 23-25, April 30 and May 1 at 7:30 p.m. The cast is a mix of M-P and Marysville Getchell students. The orchestra also is made up of students from both schools and is directed by John Rants. Roy Klementsen is the play director.

Tickets, available at the door, will be $10, with students and seniors getting in for $8.
